Sandy and Danny
Jessica James as Sandy. Linda Lamont as Danny. Linda, Jess and I had been friends since Showbags started and their stage chemistry and anticipation was excellent.
The Pink Ladies
Sandy in the background, with Amanda Monroe as Frenchy, and Christina Andrews as Rizzo. Christina has natural talent and comedy timing. Her turn as a the pregnant Rizzo was a crowd favourite.
Kenickie
Kris Del Vayze as Kenickie. Kris took the lead in Beauty School Dropout which was a real showstopper with luxurious costuming and Kris’s powerhouse delivery.
Doody
Miss Bunny as Doody, Frenchie’s boyfriend. This was a very hard role to play I thought and Bunny pulled it off brilliantly. Bunny had the ability to be totally ‘in’ the character and it gave our scenes together that extra something.
